MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The often-outspoken wife of Miami Dolphins cornerback Brent Grimes was arrested outside Sun Life stadium Sunday. Miami-Dade police took Tamiko “Miko” Grimes into custody after a game between the Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills.
They charged Grimes battery on a police officer, resisting arrest with violence and disorderly conduct.
Police say while officers tried to control crowds outside the stadium a woman, Miko Grimes walked toward a restricted area. An officer told her loudly to stop, but the woman refused and kept walking. The officer then told her she was under arrest, but Grimes got away and continued to walk to the restricted area.
