Fans are dying to see what Mike Gesicki can do on the field but thus far through three days of camp they have had to watch him run with the third team units along with fellow rookie Durham Smythe. Today, that changed.
Gesicki got a good days work in with the first team unit today along with MarQueis Gray but it may not have been a promotion necessarily. A.J. Derby who has been running with the first team units through the first three days was out of practice with a foot injury.
The injury isn’t expected to be serious but it did open the door for the rookie to get some reps.
