What solidified this notion for me was one day during training camp in his rookie season when an uncatchable ball sailed over his head and he actually berated himself for not being able to catch it. From that moment on, I could tell that Landry was special.
His work ethic has never been brought into question, his level of effort given in practice and in games have been far above and beyond the call. As a result, Landry has become quarterback Ryan Tannehill's go-to wide receiver, and he accomplished all of that within his rookie season.
Now with the majority of his teammates taking some well-deserved time off before the beginning of training camp, which opens up on July 30th, Landry has instead decided to continue his training in hopes of becoming an even better weapon this upcoming season.
