Miami Dolphins will roll with four defensive lineman to start 2018

Amid today’s cuts comes the realization that the Miami Dolphins will keep four defensive tackles which in and of itself isn’t a big deal. It’s the talent that’s the big deal. Miami will roll with Akeem Spence, Jordan Phillips, Davon Godchaux, and Vincent Taylor.

Miami will get some boost from their edge defensive ends. Robert Quinn and William Hayes have played down from time to time. The Dolphins released Kendall Langford who they had recently signed.

Under NFL rules all vested veterans who are on rosters week one have their salaries guaranteed for that season. In the case of Langford it could become one of those scenarios that he sits out week one and rejoins the Dolphins after the first weekend of football.
