DAVIE —Neville Hewitt is a linebacker in the Miami Dolphins’ base defense.
And the Dolphins think he may have the potential to be a quality, full-time starter.
“Neville is a young player – again, a second-year player – that has played really at a high level the last month I would say,” Dolphins defensive coordinator Vance Joseph said this week. “That’s a good sign. Going forward, he may be a guy that can be a full-time starter.”
Hewitt, an undrafted free agent who played safety and linebacker at Marshall, has seen his snap total increase in each of the last three weeks.
