On July 21st rookies will report for the Miami Dolphins training camp in Davie, Fl. A short three days later on the 24th, the veterans will report.
Camp will start the same as any other with conditioning tests and weigh-ins for the players. There will likely be early classroom sessions and conditioning work for the rookies before the team begins two-a-day practices with contact.
Under the current CBA, teams are allowed only 14 contact practices the entire season. Most teams run contact practices early in camp but they tend to be spread out. Two practices daily require one practice session to be non-contact.
