The Miami Dolphins will hold a moment of silence prior to today’s game against the Cleveland Browns to honor the life and pay their respects to Miami Marlins pitcther Jose Fernandez.
Fernandez and two others were confirmed dead early this morning when a Coast Guard patrol spotted an overturned boat on a jetty off of Miami Beach. It has been reported that the boat hit the jetty at full or near full speed. The boat was discovered around 3:00 a.m.
Fernandez was scheduled to pitch on Monday and today’s Marlins game against the Atlanta Braves has been cancelled.
