Miami Dolphins to add former Bucs linebacker Danny Lansanah

The Dolphins are signing linebacker Danny Lansanah, who was not re-signed by Tampa Bay after starting 22 games the past two seasons. The Tampa Bay Times reported the imminent signing.

Lansanah, 6-1 and 248 pounds, is 30 years old and was not drafted out of UConn. He was briefly in Dolphins camp in 2009 and has bounced among various teams, including his original NFL team, Green Bay. He appeared in five games for the Packers in 2008.

Last season, Lansanah started 11 of the 16 games in which he appeared, making 28 tackles, assisting on 19, and recording one sack and one forced fumble.
