When the Miami Dolphins brought in defensive end Cameron Wake from the CFL, they were taking a risk that an otherwise unknown player would become someone who could at least win a roster spot. Since then, Wake has become one of the franchise's best players in its history.
Now, the Dolphins will take another chance on someone who lit up the German Football League, so much so that he was the MVP of that league. WR/CB Tyler Davis signed a futures contract with the Miami Dolphins on Thursday afternoon, and once the new league year starts, it will go into effect.
