On Thursday the Miami Dolphins began signing their rookie class and Christian Wilkins is now officially a Miami Dolphin signing his contract ahead of the rookie camp that will continue through the weekend.
It has been reported that Christian Wilkins’ first contract in the NFL will be a four-year deal worth $15 million overall and a signing bonus of $9.6 million. The Dolphins will have a 5th-year option on their new defensive tackle as well.
Under the current CBA agreement, the rookie scale has made it far easier for NFL teams to get their draft picks under contract.
