FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Miami Dolphins rookie Jaylen Waddle scored his first career touchdown, reeling in a 3-yard screen pass from Tua Tagovailoa to give the Dolphins a 17-10 lead over the New England Patriots with less than 11 minutes left in the third quarter.
Waddle had been highly involved in Miami's game plan prior to his touchdown catch; he was the target on five of Tagovailoa's 17 pass attempts in the first half, including an impressive 36-yard catch over Patriots cornerback Jonathan Jones on Miami's final drive of the second quarter.
