For the first time in eight seasons the Miami Dolphins will have a fresh face at punter.
Brandon Fields was released by the team this morning, thus making rookie Matt Darr the team’s starter this season.
Darr, a former Tennessee Volunteer, has impressed in the preseason, punting seven times for a 50.3-yard average with a long of 58 yards.
Fields was drafted by the Dolphins in the seventh round back in 2007.
