The Miami Dolphins continue the post draft makeover of the roster by releasing three players.
Defensive end Damontre Moore, whom the Dolphins claimed last season off waivers from the Giants, receiver Christion Jones and tailback Jahwan Edwards were waived on Monday.
The release of Jones and Edwards isn't too surprising considering Miami drafted former Alabama tailback Kenyan Drake and selected two receivers - Leonte Carroo and Jakeem Grant - in the 2016 NFL draft.
But Moore, who contributed 27 tackles and four sacks last season, was expected to contend for one of the backup defensive end spots.
