DAVIE — Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill says he’s not good at — Halloween.
Tannehill’s wife, Lauren, made Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles costumes for the family.
“But the son went down early so we didn’t get to put them on,” Tannehill said.
Tannehill was asked if he ate any candy.
“I don’t eat candy, no,” he said.
Never?
“Not never, but rarely,” he said.
So Tannehill is on a Cameron Wake-type strict diet?
“No. I mean look at me and look at him,” Tannehill said, laughing.
But it was no laughing matter if you were a youngster hoping to get candy from the home of a Dolphins quarterback on Monday night.
