When the Miami Dolphins started the 2007 season, a general NFL power ranking consensus had them ranked number 20. At season’s end they were ranked dead last. The 1-15 team under Cam Cameron produced little offensively and gave up the most points in the NFL.
When the 2009 season started the Dolphins began the season ranked 26th. Of course that changed by the year’s end when Miami won the AFC East and advanced to the post-season. Since then the Dolphins haven’t fallen far from the low teens to high 20’s.
Until now.
This season was supposed to be Miami’s bid to challenge the Patriots but that has not come close to happening.
