The Miami Dolphins have scheduled the start of their 2017 offseason workout program, to include their mandatory minicamp. Under the league’s collective bargaining agreement with the NFL Players Association, each team can hold a voluntary nine-week offseason program, with that time-frame broken into three phases.
Phase one of the program will feature strength and conditioning work for players, along with an rehabilitation work needed. This phase lasts for the first two weeks.
Phase two runs over the next three weeks of the offseason program and begins to incorporate on-field workouts. These workouts are limited to individual player instruction and drills, as well as team practices conducted on a “separates” basis.
