“Farfetched,” Michael Thomas said of his chances of making the Pro Bowl.
Meaning, he’ll take it.
Thomas has made a career of capitalizing on slim chances and figures being on the ballot as a special teams candidate this year certainly beats not even making the ballot last year. Plus, with the Dolphins campaigning for fans to stuff the ballot box, and with Thomas tied for the NFL lead in special teams tackles (15), maybe Thomas’ chances aren’t so farfetched after all.
“It’s a blessing to even have the opportunity to be voted in,” said Thomas, the Dolphins’ special teams captain.
