As the Month of May began and the rookies from April’s draft began to get their uniform number assignments, word started to filter out of Miami to media outlets that Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross wasn’t all that happy about the draft results.
According to multiple reports last April, a bit of friction hovered in the Dolphins draft war room. According to these reports Ross wanted the Dolphins to draft a quarterback but the trio of Chris Grier, Mike Tannenbaum, and Adam Gase had other ideas.
The story went that Ross wanted the Dolphins to trade back and then draft quarterback Lamar Jackson.
