Miami Dolphins Make Staff Changes on Offense, Add Al Saunders

While many expected staff changes relating to the Miami Dolphins’ defense, there’s been a shuffling on offense, reports NFL Network’s Albert Breer Wednesday morning.

The team brought in longtime NFL coach Al Saunders to be an “offensive consultant.” Saunders, 68, has been a NFL coach since 1983 and most recently served as a senior offensive assistant with the Raiders last season.

The Dolphins also moved assistant quarterbacks coach Ben Johnson to coach tight ends, filling interim head coach Dan Campbell’s previous role, and “re-assigned” receivers coach Ken O’Keefe.

Dolphins are shuffling staff on offense today, with veteran assistant Al Saunders coming in as a consultant.
