The news may not look to good for Miami Dolphins starting safety Louis Delmas. During today’s practice with the Carolina Panthers, Delmas went down holding his right knee. He tore his right ACL last season that put him on the IR.
A very solid safety, Delmas has struggled with injury issues for the last four years and has yet to play a full season in that entire time. He may not make it to the first game this season. It’s unknown how severe the injury is and we likely won’t know until tomorrow. With Delmas sidelined for the immediate future, it will once again fall on the shoulders of inexperience.
