The play that basically won it for the Dolphins has been in their arsenal all week, Jarvis Landry said.
Then he thought about it.
“Well, actually it was a late install,” he said.
How late?
“Like a Friday addition.”
The play was a 32-yard reception to the Cleveland 11-yard line in overtime. On the next play, recent doghouse tenant Jay Ajayi galloped into the end zone, giving the Dolphins their first victory by touchdown since that Greg Camarillo bomb to beat Baltimore and avoid a winless season in 2007.
