In most cases having your number one wide-receiver active on game day is important but for the Miami Dolphins, having DeVante Parker active could be a $9 million mistake. Parker’s fifth year option is guaranteed if he is injured and can not pass a physical in March. That’s a risk that Adam Gase is willing to take.
Why shouldn’t he? A loss today may end Gase’s career in Miami. Of course losing Parker to an injury could also put you out of a job as well.
The Dolphins will not have David Fales in the lineup today which also has some wondering why.
