CARLSBAD, Calif. — Miami Dolphins linebacker Jelani Jenkins (hand/knee) and defensive end Mario Williams (ankle) did not practice Thursday and have not practiced this week.
Of Williams, coach Adam Gase said on Wednesday: “You know, we’re day-to-day right now. Hopefully he’ll feel better by the end of the week. Right now he’s still not where he wants to be. We’ll see how this progresses as the week goes on.”
If Jenkins can’t play, Neville Hewitt could replace him in passing-down situations. The Dolphins could also go with three safeties — Bacarri Rambo, Michael Thomas and Isa Abdul-Quddus.
