The canopy at the Dolphins’ stadium will be a welcome addition to fans from 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays, but the franchise has another item on its to-do list that might be an equally welcome addition from 4 to 5.
It won’t be in place this season, but by the time the 2017 season rolls around, fans will be able to exit (and enter) the outer stadium parking lots much quicker than today.
The Dolphins plan to build pedestrian tunnels to enable fans parking in the outer lots to walk to and from the stadium unimpeded.
