Miami Dolphins hire former CFL head coach

The Miami Dolphins have added a former CFL standout and head coach to the offensive coaching staff, hiring Danny Barrett to coach the team's tailbacks.

Barrett, a Boynton Beach native, is quite familiar with Florida considering he spent the past five seasons as an assistant at the University of Central Florida.

When George O'Leary stepped down as the team's head coach in the middle of the 2015 season Barrett replaced him as the Knight's interim coach. However, the team he led lost all four games with Barrett at the helm.

During his 15-year professional playing career Barrett played in 163 regular season CFL games for Calgary, Toronto, B.
