Miami Dolphins get cap $17 million cap relief today

After three months of tight cap space the Miami Dolphins will finally reap the financial benefit of the Ndamukong Suh release. Designated a post-June 1st cut in March, the Dolphins released the expensive and talented defensive lineman. In doing so they took an immediate cap hit with the aforementioned $17 million remaining on the books until, today.

Miami gets the cap space which will now put them in the $18 to $20 million range in cap space. The Dolphins will likely add a veteran kicker and potentially a few more players ahead of training camp as well as sign their rookie draft class.
