Whether or not the Miami Dolphins put Frank Gore on the IR is not known. His ankle was not broken and an MRI today will tell if there is any ligament damage in the ankle. Gore has had an exceptional season with the Dolphins but depending on what they find in the MRI, he may have played his last game this season.
Of course the next question would be if Gore is out the rest of the year what will happen this off-season? Gore has been a great leader and teammate but he is also 35 years old and will turn 36 before the next season starts.
