DAVIE — Anthony Steen made the first start of his life at center in the Dolphins last preseason game. And Miami coach Adam Gase said: “The communication was outstanding. I love the way he plays.”
Gase loves that Steen was aggressive, physical and tough. Gase also liked that Steen and quarterback Ryan Tannehill did a solid job redirecting protections against the Falcons.
Steen told The Daily Dolphin, “I thought I did all right. I could have done a lot better, though. There is plenty of room to improve.”
Sitting at an adjoining locker, veteran tackle Sam Young added hat Steen was hardly noticed during the game.
