Miami Dolphins Chris Culliver expects to play

Culliver returned to practice almost a month ago. First lightly but then increasing his participation. Now, activated off the PuP list, Culliver is expected to participate for the first time in 2016 on Sunday against the San Diego Chargers.

The addition of Culliver couldn’t have come at a better time for the Dolphins. The Chargers offense is built on the gunslinging mentality of Charger quarterback Phillip Rivers. The Dolphins are thin at cornerback and need a veteran boost in the secondary.

Culliver has 26 starts in his career with San Francisco and Washington but he injured his knee last November and was placed on IR.
