Jones narrowly missed making the final 53 man roster for the Dolphins after having an average and unispiring training camp. Still, his time in Denver with Adam Gase got him noticed and now, he is back with the club.
The signing of Jones is a reflection on the concerns of Jordan Cameron who suffered yet another concussion and missed Thursday night. Cameron’s exit in Cleveland was in part due to serious concussion issues that Cameron suffered while with the Browns.
Jones has a 4 catches on his NFL resume so anyone wondering if he will have the type of impact the tight end should have in Miami’s offense, won’t likely see it anytime soon.
