It wasn’t a good day to be practicing for the Miami Dolphins on Thursday unless your name is Tank Carradine. The Dolphins on Thursday brought back the defensive edge rusher after releasing him when the team trimmed to 53. It isn’t surprising as many veterans will not join teams until after the first week of the season has concluded. It is at that time when the contracts are not guaranteed for the year.
To make room for Carradine who had a decent camp, the Dolphins placed linebacker Jonathan Ledbetter on the injured reserve list. Ledbetter injured his ankle in practice this week and will miss at least 8 weeks of the season before he is eligible to be taken off the IR.
