NFL teams that change head coaches get to start the offseason program earlier than the rest, which explains why the Miami Dolphins will begin its offseason program on April 11.
According to the NFL's master list of each team's offseason schedule, the Dolphins will begin the Adam Gase era by begin weight lifting and training for the 2016 season a week before most of the league.
The Dolphins will then begin its organized training activities (OTAs) the week of May 24-26.
Miami will also hold OTA sessions on May 31, June 1-2, and June 6-9.
