The Miami Dolphins’ pre-season will end this evening when they travel to Altanta Georgia to take on the Atlanta Falcons. As with most final games of the pre-season, many of the starters will be held out of the game with some not even dressing. This game serves as a way for those players that have not cemented a roster spot to either make their argument for giving them one of those final roster spots. It also serves as a chance for those players that may not be selected for the final roster, not because of lack of NFL level talent, but perhaps because of good depth at their particular position, to showcase what they have to offer to other NFL teams that may want to put in a waiver claim on the player following cuts.
