Miami had several linebackers at their facility on Tuesday for a workout including former Packer A.J. Hawk. The Dolphins liked what they saw in Donald Butler and signed him to a contract.
Drafted in the 3rd round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers, Butler began his career playing quite well leading the teams linebackers in tackles in his 2nd season.
Butler missed his first season due to an Achille’s injury. Throughout his career with the Chargers, Butler was one of the top vocal leaders on the defensive unit.
