The Dolphins will practice Sunday, Monday and Tuesday afternoon, in sessions closed to the public, before traveling to Orlando Wednesday in advance of Thursday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons. Here are three things to look for at practice Sunday:
- Xavien Howard returns to practice. The Dolphins are counting on Howard, a rookie cornerback from Baylor, to emerge as a starter this season. Howard (knee) was activated before Friday night’s game and participated in pregame workouts, but did not play. Howard has the size, ball skills and feistiness the Dolphins crave in corners but he needs all the experience he can get, starting with today’s practice.
