Perhaps it should be called the cleansing conundrum, or the baffling bathing incident. But whatever you call it, Laremy Tunsil’s injury last weekend was strange.
The Dolphins’ first-round pick missed last Sunday’s game after slipping and falling in a shower at the team hotel before the game and injuring his ankle. Tunsil has since returned to practice and seems to be on pace to start against the Steelers.
Still, the 6’5” offensive lineman’s freak incident ranks among the oddest and most intriguing injuries in football in the past few years and, much like these off-field injuries, it will be discussed in jest for years to come:
