“The pieces are in place for Ryan [Tannehill] to take that next jump and go from prospect to consistent pro,” former NFL quarterback Shaun King said on the Omar Kelly Show with Miko Grimes, “and hopefully for the Dolphins fan base, he makes that jump.”
Since Ryan Tannehill received a monster contract extension this summer, does that add pressure?
“I don’t think there’s any pressure,” King said. “I compare a quarterback getting paid to a woman having her boyfriend finally marry her. When he makes that step it relieves a lot of pressure. When an organization gives you the kind of contract they gave to Ryan Tannehill it relieves a lot of pressure.
