Kenyan Drake could suddenly become key part of Miami Dolphins offense

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — Kenyan Drake had few running back reps at Dolphins practice last week, but when Arian Foster injured his groin in the second quarter, and then Jay Ajayi fumbled, Drake became a part of the offensive game plan.

“When my number is called, I just want to make the most of my opportunity,” said Drake, who had 2 rushes and 2 catches for 15 yards and his first career touchdown.

Drake ran around the right end and into the end zone with 6:10 remaining to bring the Dolphins within 31-24.

“It was an outside zone play, blocked perfectly,” Drake said.
