As the clock ticked the Cardinals made their phone calls to soon to be first-round pick Kyler Murray but they didn’t bother to call Josh Rosen to tell him they were drafting the Oklahoma quarterback.
Speaking with Rich Eisen on The Rich Eisen Show which airs daily at 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. ET on AT&T AUDIENCE Network which can be found on DIRECTV Ch. 239, Rosen told Eisen that he received a call from head coach Kliff Kingsbury a minute before they drafted Murray.
Rosen says he thanked Kingsbury and even received a call from him the following day after he was traded.
