INDIANAPOLIS — The Dolphins took a gamble hiring a 37-year-old coach, but his former boss believes it will pay off for Miami.
Bears coach John Fox, who hired Adam Gase as offensive coordinator in both Denver and Chicago, said Gase is one of the league’s bright minds.
“He’s very passionate. He’s a tireless worker,” Fox said Wednesday at the scouting combine in Indianapolis. “I think he’s very creative. I think he’s an outside the box thinker.”
Fox said Gase is smart and also understands the importance of hiring a strong staff. He praised Gase’s hiring of defensive coordinator Vance Joseph and offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen.
