DAVIE - Two important offensive starters for the Miami Dolphins returned to practice on Wednesday, and are working to get cleared to play in Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers.
Ja'Wuan James, the Dolphins' starting right tackle, has been cleared to practice on a limited basis despite his left toe injury not being fully healed.
And Rishard Matthews, the team's starting split ed, has been cleared to practice with his team for the first time in two weeks. Matthews, who is nursing cracked ribs he injured in Miami's 38-20 loss to the Jets, is pushing to play Sunday against the San Diego Chargers because this would be his return to his home state.
