CARLSBAD, Calif.–Jarvis Landry has to reach all the way back to his college years to find a point in his football career that felt this good.
The Dolphins saved their season with a four-game winning streak, which they can extend Sunday at Los Angeles, and Landry doesn’t seem to care that his numbers have fallen off significantly during this run. He’s averaging 63.8 yards on 5.3 catches during the streak, down from 80.6 on 6.8 in the first five games. His targets have dropped from 9.6 to 7.3 as well.
“That’s the beauty about this team: It doesn’t matter who’s the star,” he said before practice today.
