At least one Miami Dolphins player got off to a fast start this week. Jarvis Landry who raced 69 yards in the 4th quarter for a punt return touchdown has been named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week.
Landry broke free on the punt and scampered untouched into the end zone breaking a 10-10 tie and adding the seven points that beat the Redskins. Landry averaged 37 yards on two returns including the 69 yard touchdown run. It’s the first return for a touchdown since 2012 when Marcus Thigpen returned a punt for a score in a loss against the Houston Texans.
