Former Miami Dolphins defensive lineman Jared Odrick was informed by the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday that he would be released. Odrick, Miami’s 2010 first-round draft choice, joined the Jaguars in 2015 playing in 22 games in those two years.
Odrick shared a picture on Instagram from Cabarete Beach in the Dominican Republic as he received the phone call informing him of Jacksonville’s roster move.
In five years with Miami, Odrick played defensive end, defensive tackle, and linebacker, totaling 129 tackles, 16.5 sacks, one interception, 11 passes defensed, three forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 65 games played with 41 starts.
