Isaiah Pead loses part of leg from car crash

Former Miami Dolphins running back Isaiah Pead has, according to University of Cincinnati head coach Tommy Tuberville, lost part of his leg following a one-car accident last Saturday. Pead, a former member of the University of Cincinnati football program, was driving the car on Interstate 670 in Columbus, Ohio when, around 2:30am, he lost control of the car. He was ejected from the vehicle and was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Tuberville, who gave the update during his weekly radio show on 700 WLW-AM, joined the school 2013, after Pead left during the 2012 Draft. University of Cincinnati trainer Bob Mangine visited Pead in the hospital and tweeted a picture.
