Defensive end Charles Harris will miss his third consecutive game with an injured calf, Dolphins coach Adam Gase told reporters Tuesday.
That means Harris, the Dolphins’ first-round pick in 2017, will reach the midway point of the season with zero sacks and just 11 tackles, a major reason why the team ranks 29th league-wide with just 11 sacks.
The Dolphins had hopes for a breakout season from Harris this year, but the combination off missed opportunities and missed time due to injuries has made him largely a non-factor. Harris has just two sacks in his NFL career.
