Chris Grier has spent a long time with the Miami Dolphins but this year he will run his first NFL Draft despite being the teams general manager for the last few years. Everything is now in his hands.
In 2008 Bill Parcells fired Randy Mueller and installed his own general manager, Jeff Ireland. For two seasons Jeff Ireland did what Bill Parcells told him and then when Parcells left the Dolphins, Ireland ran his first draft. Ireland didn’t do a great job. In 2012 Ireland ran his last draft as the Dolphins moved on to Dennis Hickey.
Hickey ran his first draft with the Dolphins but then gave way to Mike Tannenbaum.
