DAVIE (CBSMiami) – After bringing in a couple linebackers for a visit on Wednesday, the Miami Dolphins liked what they saw out of one of them.
Journeyman Danny Lansanah, who played the last two seasons with the Tampa Bay Bucs, has signed with the Dolphins.
In a corresponding move, Miami waived/injured wide receiver Tyler Murphy to make room on the roster.
The Dolphins also brought in Brandon Spikes for a visit on Wednesday.
Lansanah started 22 games over the past two seasons in Tampa at all three linebacker positions.
He will be competing with Zach Vigil and Neville Hewitt for a roster spot as a backup.
