On Tuesday, the Dolphins players hit the field for their first OTA (Organized Team Activities) of the 2015 offseason. The squad practiced outside under overcast skies for approximately 2 hours at the Doctors Hospital Training Facility in Davie. The team was in shorts for the on-field work and no live contact was permitted, per NFL rules. It provided an important step in the offseason process as it was the first opportunity for the offense and defense to compete against each other in 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 situations. Following the session, Coach Joe Philbin, Coach Bill Lazor and many Dolphins players spoke with the South Florida media.
