Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill made big strides in his third season, throwing for 27 touchdowns, 12 interceptions and a 92.8 passer rating.
That followed a 2013 season when he threw 24 touchdowns with 17 interceptions and an 81.7 passer rating.
So what would be an ideal statistical season in 2015 for Tannehill? Coach Joe Philbin has a pretty good idea.
“I can sit here and say I want him to throw 34 touchdown passes and I want his QB rating to be 102 and throw nine picks,” Philbin said. “Certainly I want all that stuff.”
Philbin, in a wide-ranging interview with the Palm Beach Post on Sunday, spoke about Tannehill’s development.
